SRNL has two paper making machines, PM1 and PM2, of international make. The collective manufacturing capacity of the plants is 150000 MT per annum of writing & printing paper.
The two paper making machines have one of the highest deckles in the country, 6.3 metres and 5.3 metres respectively. Both the machines are automatic with QCS and DCS.
SRNL has two fully automatic de-inking plants of international make with a capacity of 144000 tonnes. The machines are equipped with DCS which ensure seamless operations and ensure the quality of output matches all the requisite benchmarks
Raw material is the critical ingredient in recycled paper based manufacturing as the quality varies depending on the source and type of raw material. The type of raw material impacts the quality of final paper. SRNL procures waste paper and recycled paper to the tune of 210000 MT per annum. The raw material procured by SRNL includes Sorted White Ledger, Sorted Office Paper and Old Newspaper.
SRNL has a dedicated quality and research & development facility with latest equipment. It has a team of paper specialists and chemists focussed on the twin objectives of developing writing & printing paper product mix and meeting the required specifications of the client.
